Dortmund, Germany, March 1, 2018: At its meeting yesterday, the Supervisory Board of Elmos Semiconductor AG (FSE: ELG) appointed Dr. Jan Dienstuhl (42) to the Management Board with effect from January 1, 2019. He will take over responsibility for Development and Sales. The current Chief Sales Officer, Dr. Peter Geiselhart (60), will be leaving the Elmos Management Board when his contract ends on December 31, 2018, as per the long-standing agreement with him.
Dr. Klaus Weyer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Elmos Semiconductor AG, explains: “Dr. Dienstuhl has many years of experience and expertise in the semiconductor and automotive industry that he has acquired in his position to date at Elmos and, prior to that, at Infineon. We look forward to being able to further promote the long-term positive development of the company through this internal appointment.”
Dr. Dienstuhl joined the company as a product line manager in January 2012 and took over responsibility for the Sensors business line on October 1, 2012. He started his career at Infineon Technologies AG in Munich, Germany, where he was named Executive Assistant to the Automotive Board after holding various technical and management positions. Dr. Dienstuhl studied and earned his doctor’s degree in electrical engineering at TU Dortmund University.
Already today, the Supervisory Board and Management Board would like to thank Dr. Geiselhart for his contribution to the company’s positive development already. He will oversee the efforts to prepare Dr. Dienstuhl for his duties until he leaves the company.
