Elmos Semiconductor Business Services GmbH provides centralized services for the Elmos Group, including Finance and Accounting, Controlling, Human Resources, IT, Data Sciences, Procurement, Facility Management, Occupational Safety, Quality Management, and support services in similar administrative areas such as Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Patenting, and Investor Relations. The services provided also include support for strategic projects and operational tasks.
 

CFO Support and Commercial Projects

• Support of the commercial management in the control of the GmbHs, including the preparation of financial analyses, decision papers and presentations
• Support of operational and strategic projects as well as reporting and controlling of projects
   

Finance

• Responsible for corporate accounting, taxes, accounting and treasury
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the group and subsidiaries, liquidity management and compliance
• Contact for auditors, tax auditors and banks
   

Controlling

• Comprehensive financial reporting, budget planning, forecasts and creation of management reports
• Operational controlling with a focus on cost accounting and inventory valuation
• Support for special projects such as M&A, restructuring and software implementation
   

Procurement

• Strategic and indirect purchasing for the group: development of supplier strategies, contract negotiations, market analyses and process improvements
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and optimizing collaboration with suppliers

Human Resource Management

• Comprehensive personnel administration: employee support, payroll accounting, contract management and support with travel expenses and works council work
• Personnel development and recruiting: training, further education, health promotion, onboarding and talent promotion

Legal

• Comprehensive legal advice: examination of legal issues, drafting and negotiation of contracts, representation of legal interests and support in legal proceedings
• Legal monitoring: observation of regulatory developments, preparation of recommendations for action and preparation for new requirements

Patent-Management Services

• Holistic patent management: identification of inventions eligible for protection, invention and application management, contract design, as well as enforcement and defense of intellectual property rights
• IP consulting: ensuring freedom to operate, licensing and implementation of DIN 77006 requirements

Facility Management

• Maintenance and monitoring of office and production areas, including clean room environments
• Planning and execution of maintenance and renovation projects, energy efficiency management and compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Management of external facility service providers

IT Services

• Provision and operation of IT infrastructure, networks and systems
• Focus on production automation, cyber security and international software solutions
• Procurement of IT components and management of IT projects

AI & Data Intelligence

• Data-based process optimization: development, management and support of data-driven projects in the areas of AI, data science, digitalization and data governance.
• Focus: analysis, prediction, AI implementation, visualization and software development. Development and modernization of data structures, automation of processes and user training for innovative and efficient solutions

Quality Assurance

• Continuous monitoring and analysis of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 26262)
• Implementation of efficiency measures, conducting product tests and root cause analysis in the event of quality deviations
• Coordination of audits and creation of detailed documentation, as well as regular reporting on quality measures and results

Investor Relations

• Comprehensive support in the area of investor relations: compliance with capital market regulations, preparation of financial reports, coordination of analyst and investor events, and regulatory reporting
• Communication: maintenance of the investor relations website, further development of the equity story and targeted shareholder analyses
• Support with annual general meetings, special projects and internal finance topics

Public Relations

• Holistic communication support: planning and creation of press releases, specialist articles, internal publications and corporate videos
• Brand management and design: development of corporate design, creation of style guides and maintenance of umbrella brand architecture
• Digital and print communication: further development of the Elmos website, social media content, as well as design of advertising materials and publications

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)

• Comprehensive ESG support: ensuring ESG disclosure requirements, sustainability reporting and development of ESG strategies and goals
• CO₂ management and KPIs: creating GHG and PCF balances, improving the CO₂ footprint and tracking audit-proof ESG metrics
• Stakeholder and rating management: managing ESG portals, optimizing ESG ratings and maintaining the sustainability website

Corporate Governance, Compliance, Internal Auditing and the Elmos Foundation

• Consultancy and development of CMS, RMS, and corporate governance, preparation of reports, legal support of the annual general meeting, and risk management
• Training, group control, and special projects, including support for the Elmos Foundation
• Planning and performance of audits, reporting and follow-up of measures for process optimization

Cross-functional Responsibilities
