Elmos has been awarded for a very good apprenticeship for micro technologists in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The 16 chambers of industry and commerce in NRW have awarded this prize to former Elmos apprentice Tim Koziolek.
"Tim has done a great job. This is all the more remarkable as training at Elmos is challenging - in all areas. We know that a very good education is a tried and tested remedy for the shortage of skilled workers. Therefore, we will continue to attach great importance to a good education, "says Holger Schienbein, Vice President Human Resources of Elmos Semiconductor AG.
However, the long-term apprenticeship strategy and promotion of young talent at Elmos does not end with the end of the apprenticeship. Koziolek choose to go for a degree in electrical engineering after completing his apprenticeship and now works as a student assistant in the Backend department of Elmos.
For the apprenticeships with start in August 2019 we are searching for e.g. micro technologists, physics lab technicians, IT specialists for application development, electronic technicians for industrial engineering, industrial clerks, office management and warehouse logistics specialists.
In addition to the apprenticeships Elmos also offers various subsidies and opportunities for students. This can e.g. be an internship or even a master's thesis. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our HRM department at +49 231 7549 - 0.
